Eggz? C’Mon….how’d ya get that name?
Hahahaha,Ive had it as long as I can remember…..next question.
The Mighty Pragmatics latest and greatest EP ‘the Good, The Bad and The Mighty’ was reviewed by us a few months ago, and caused a bit of a stir over here….we even had you played on the radio. Tell me what you guys have been up to recently and what your plans are?
Thanks a lot for that! We been playing as often as we can, trying to light some fires and hoping they connect. As far as plans go….only the shadow knows…….
You played in a very interesting band a few years ago with a great name….dish the dirt on your career so far….influences etc?
Ha ha-ya must be referring to BARNEY RUBBLE and the CUNT STUBBLE,lets just say the 80 were a bit fucked up. I cut my teeth in NYHC, and there’s still a bit of that in The Mighty Pragmatics , along with The Dolls, Dead Boys, Thunders and even a lil Motorhead and Iron Maiden thrown in for good measure..
Tell me about the Johnny Thunders show you played last month at Bowery Ballroom. There were some great acts on the bill, but I heard something about you getting thrown out by the security staff…what went down?
Ok,ya ready? Ya sitting down? I was asked to leave for having the audacity to light a cigarette in the toilet of the dressing room bathroom…..pretty heavy stuff…..
Any future shows planned?
Yeah Sept 10th at The local 269 NYC and October 28th at Mercury Lounge…but, shit pops up all the time so keep ya eyes and ears open.

You play quite often with a guitar hero of mine, and I’m sure of many thousands, Johnny Rao. He’s good ain’t he?
Yeah, he's a sweet kid.
Which bands are ya listening to right now?
Nobody, I don’t listen to other bands.
What makes a great punk band?
Me.
You’ve played some decent shows with the Prags at some great NYC venues too. Any plans to test out Europe?
If they buying ,we flying.
I know you love your guitars and kit, but what’s your stage set up?
Les Pauls-wraptails-p90s-Non Master Volume Marshalls on 10…and a tuner if I’m not too lazy to hook it up.
What album would you say inspired you the most to take up playing in a band, and why?
Led Zeppelin One, because, I hated it sooooooooooo much, I knew even as a lil kid, I could do way better.

What’s next for you Eggz?
Breakfast.

Thanks Johnny, always a great pleasure to chat with you and we’re looking forward to hearing and seeing the band out on the road, especially if you do make it across the pond.
