The Rabble - The Battle's Almost Over..
By Chris Rockson

Available Worldwide NOW!!
I first came across this 'rousing rabble' of Kiwi invaders when they played a killer set at the Rebellion Festival earlier this summer [ and reported elsewhere in the site ], and they blew me away completely!
This is EXACTLY how to do it! Any kids wanting to start a band should use this band as the template. They have it all! The look, the killer attitude and most of all the sound that thousands of their peers would die for! The Rabble don't disappoint in the song-writing department either - for young guys, they certainly know how to construct a decent song or two. Anyway, enough of my rambling about how fucking great this band is, let's go check out the album.....
Ok, beyond the very well put-together gatefold cover lies one of THE must have albums of the century!!! Make no mistake, I don't make that claim lightly....these guys fuckin' raaawwwwkkk! It all kicks off at a nice enough pace with the dynamite opener, and forthcoming single, 'Seeking' - with its line 'I'm a simple man, but there's gotta be more than this'....tells the story of what you can do if you want it bad enough.
'Salvation' is pure, raw punk rock, played at one hundred and one miles per hour, and the awesome 'Sick & Tired' displaying some great bass playing skill and nice interludes...these guys can play alright! 'We March into war, but no-one knows what we're fighting for'....'Blood & Whiskey' takes up the next bit of album space with an almost Ramones chant of 'Hey-Ho'...Joey and Co would be proud of this one! 'We've got our music, it's our only weapon'..what a line? Great stuff!
Best track on the album award goes to the wonderful 'This world is dead!', simply a masterpiece.
I could go on and on about each song, but where's the fun for you ? Go and Check out the Rabble NOW!!!
