The Rabble - UK Tour with Goldblade

To a less than spectacular audience, The Rabble make their entrance onto the small stage upstairs at the Academy...why are so many still in the bar? Don't they know what they're about to miss? Fuck me, this is the best band around for years and the bar is full to the brim? I just don't get it!!!

Anyway, their loss is very much 'our' gain....Chazz, Rupe and Jamie deliver yet another KILLER set on their support slot with Goldblade, as they travel the country delivering their message - The Battle has just begun! They blast straight into their set to a very enthusiastic crowd, some had witnessed their show the night before across the hills, over in Leeds, and travelled across to 'god's country' to get another dose of The Rabble.

This is what PUNK is all about....loud, raw and energetic....no posing and long guitar/drum soloing here, just simple songs played from the heart, with passion! The Rabble seem to have it all, they have the 'look' and the 'tude, but they also have an ability to write some fucking killer music too...and that is sadly lacking from their peers...they are streets ahead of the game!

They hammer out all of their anthems at a killer pace, playing a mixture of the old and the new tracks from the latest album, 'Seeking' starts the action, through the bliss that is 'Salvation' to 'This World Is Dead!' which gets the mosh-pit into fourth gear...it's all over too soon for my liking!

These guys are the real-deal.....forget the rest and join the Battle, because the war has just begun!
